Our St. Patrick's day boy turns 6!

Well, I have neglected this blog for a while. I'm not sure why. Maybe I think I have to have just the right setting and time to be able to do it, but I don't. I also wonder if it's worth it, if anyone reads it, and think sometimes I don't have anything new or exciting to say. I have entertained the idea of quitting it all together. We first started this to update people about Micah and I think people followed for a while and maybe a few still do. Then as I thought about it more, I realized I like doing it no matter how sporadic I may be with it. Even if only four people read it, it's worth it because some day, I want to have it printed as a keepsake for myself and my boys.

These are just a few of the birthday pics. For some reason blogger was only allowing me to post 5 photos, so I just gave up. I will post more later. Micah had a good birthday. We took a giant chocolate chip cookie to school for his class and it was devoured all except for the few pieces they saved for Gabriel and myself. Micah's Aunt Janel came to help us celebrate and we went to the dreaded Chuck E. Cheese which Gabriel kept calling "Chuckie's place." For some reason, Micah absolutely loves that place. With his occasional sensitivity to noise and too many people, you would think it would overwhelm him and he would immediately head for the door. But, no! He loves it! He laughed and rode mostly the Bob the Builder ride and a few others. He did play a few of the games too which is more than he has done in the past. This was our third year to go there, but the first time Gabriel could really enjoy it. He had a blast as well.

Well, dear one, you can count on Cecil and Karen to check the blog frequently. I do like your idea of printing it as a record for your family to have for later days. I hope you continue the blog, but, of course, we're grandparents!! I only wish I had taken a photo last Saturday of the potted rose bush Micah placed in the middle of his bed, upright and with not a speck of soil spilled from it's original setting to his bed!

He looks so happy! And good for you for blogging for YOU. Sometimes I have compared myself to other blogs I read and feel quite inadequate, but then I remind myself that mine is more of a journal than anything else. I want to print mine someday, too..but never have started doing it!

I agree with miss.nelson--wishing you blogged more often and unhappy that you don't. I just don't tell you so, for I know you are busy. I think you are getting the message that you have loving readers and very much like the updates.
