Micah has regressed a little bit in terms of being okay with Gabriel. He was really upset on Saturday, crying and not wanting to look at him or be in the same room with him. He has been going back to his room more and closing the door. At times it has been like it was when Gabriel was a newborn. Why he has been acting this way again is a mystery. I was going to Wal-Mart on Saturday to pick up a few things so I decided to take Gabe along, so Micah could have some time with Wayne and since he had been so upset. While there, I spotted some Valentine’s Day balloons and thought I’d grab one for Micah. He loved it so much that he laughed, jumped, pulled on the balloon and was entertained for an hour or so until he busted it! So, Sunday I bought two more. By then, the enthusiasm had worn off a bit but he still plays with them every so often.

Thankfully, both the boys are feeling better. They both had virus that has been going around (RSV) which was pretty nasty for both of them. Micah had it first, was out of school for four days and then passed it on to Gabriel. He was quite sick with high fever, horribly congested, and listless at times. We ended up taking him to the ER because we had heard it can be life threatening for babies or could go into pneumonia easily. Thankfully, he didn’t have pneumonia, but had an ear infection in both ears. My parents were here that week, so it was quite helpful and nice to have them here and not have to get Gabriel out. I’m so glad they are both doing well now! Wayne’s parents were here to visit help the next week while Wayne was at a conference in New Orleans. It’s such a blessing to have family close!

I have a video, but it was taking a very long time to upload, so I'll try again later.
