First Swim and First Steps!

Gabriel had his first swim last Friday afternoon at some friends' house from church. He seemed a little unsure at first and just kept looking at me with an expression that seemed to say "This is different, what are we doing?" He remained in this little float for the entire time and towards the end he was splashing the water quite a bit. We were only in the water for about an hour, with a break in the shade for part of that time. I didn't want him to get a sunburn. Even though I had lathered him with sunscreen, you never know how effective it will be.

Wayne got an early Father's Day present. On Saturday night, Gabriel took his first steps! This video was from last night. The one from Saturday wasn't so great, and Micah kept walking in front of the camera. He will take some steps here and there, usually about 3 or 4 and then collapse while giggling. It won't be long though, before he will be toddling everywhere!

How beautiful to see these photos! The first steps are so great to have on camera! Gabriel's made his own birthday present, first steps, to himself! It will be so great to see you all on Sunday, and for Gabriel's birthday.

It took me a while to discover the steps of Gabriel were in a video. I've watched it over and over. What a discovery he has made, and it tickles him, doesn't it? Such fun! Can't wait to see it for myself.

How wonderful to get to see/hear the video of the walking--brings back memories! And the water experience was fun too, I am sure. Enjoy your summer--it will be over much too soon. Love and contintued prayers, Donna and Tom Willis

Yay swimming! Yay walking! Looks like Gabriel is doing very well. So glad to see that. I like the new blog background. I'm glad you all are doing well in your new home. How does Wayne like the job? Things here are good. I got my work permit and am now looking for a job. It's a bit tougher than I thought. I have a couple good possibilities for the Fall. Nothing for right now though. We travel to Big Trout Lake Ontario for our mission trip in less than two weeks. We're very excited and busy preparing. Blessings and Peace,
Jenn and Tim
