Short Visit to Henryetta

Back in late July, I got to meet up with Larissa in Henryetta, OK. She was in for a short visit from New York and we arranged to meet there since it was halfway from OK City and halfway from Fort Smith. For those of you who don't know, Larissa is one of my dear friends from our time in San Francisco. I hadn't seen her since Gabriel was about a week old, so it was great that we could connect. She's a lot of fun and a few of these pictures show her craziness. We went to Wal-Mart so I could find a sippy cup for Gabriel. While I was in the midst of making that difficult decision, she was having fun with Gabriel, putting strange shoes on him and taking pictures.

That's just wrong.

From boots to girl's black patent leather shoes!!!! That brought a laugh from these quarters! Glad you had fun with Larissa and she can be so close that you can see her sometimes.

All visits to Henryetta should be short, and I recommend including a 1 year old (with his super cool mama) and an ice cream shop near a walmart. What can I say people, the thought of Wayne seeing his little boy in patent leather Mary Janes was too good to pass up. His manhood is in tact, and his status as a country boy is too...he tried to kick both pairs of shoes off almost immediately. Love those boys, Kelly and Wayne.

Kelly - I can relate to the "difficult" decision of picking out a sippy cup. (Are the number of choices overwhelming, or is it just me?) Now, I can only buy 2 cups that are exactly the same (which they rarely come 2 that are the same, if ever.) My girls will fight over who gets what color.....
Love the pics. :)
